GI360™ Profile (Stool)
The GI360™ Profile is an innovative, comprehensive, and clinically-applicable stool profile, utilizing multiplex PCR molecular technology coupled with growth-based culture and ID by MALDI-TOF, sensitive biochemical assays and microscopy to detect and assess the status of pathogens, viruses, parasites and bacteria that may be contributing to acute or chronic gastrointestinal symptoms and disease. Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology (Stool)
Gut health is inherent to optimal wellness. The gut, or gastrointestinal tract, is central to health and nutrition because without adequate digestion, nothing gets into the system as it should. While there is a clear connection between overall health and specific gut pathologies, such as irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, or Crohn’s disease, every health condition is impacted by the gut.
Advanced Intestinal Barrier Assessment (Plasma)
Precision Point Diagnostics’ Advanced IBA profile takes a deep dive into intestinal barrier function. Using a collection of innovative biomarkers, this test helps clinicians determine if their patients have intestinal permeability, or “leaky gut.” Intestinal permeability has been suggested as a root cause of autoimmune diseases, systemic inflammation, and food sensitivities. Healing the gut barrier is so pivotal for resolving chronic disease that if it isn’t addressed, other treatments will have little to no effect.

Steroids should be discontinued 72 hours before testing
Some examples of steroids include:
Intestinal Barrier Assessment:
- Zonulin- No interactions
Antibiotics will not affect the test, but better to finish a course of antibiotics first to see how it alters LPS response. If patient is on long term on-going antibiotics, can be done at same time, but expect that LPS immune response would be higher if not on antibiotics
Avoid anti-histamines following medications for at least 24 hours
Some anti-histamines include:
- Brompheniramine (Dimetane)
- Cetirizine (Zyrtec)
- Chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton)
- Clemastine (Tavist)
- Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
- Fexofenadine (Allegra)
- Loratadine (Alavert, Claritin)
- Tagamet and SSRIs will lower DAO
Adrenal Stress Test
Avoid Steroids for 72 hours
Do not take DHEA on morning of test
Do not take thyroid medications on morning of test
Oxidative Stress Test
No medication interactions

At Precision Point Diagnostics rapid, accurate results are our #1 priority. Turnaround time varies from 7 – 14 business days for most tests ordered. Due to the current pandemic, turnaround time may extend due to supply chain interruptions.
Every lab is required to develop its own reference ranges. For this reason, you should not expect ranges to be the same from lab to lab. At Precision, we look at the values over the hundreds of thousands of specimens we have run and then look at distributions. In general, the top 5% is determined high, and then the next 25% is moderate, and then the next 25% is lower. However, when there is epidemiologic evidence that the population, in general, has more difficulty with a food, such as wheat or dairy, we will consider % reactivity in populations in general, and consider research and data, alongside our distributions to create a range.
Each state has different regulations which govern the scope of practice for the practitioner. It is the responsibility of the practitioner to work within the rules and guidelines of the state. The immune system is more mature by 9 or 12 months, but if for example there is a baby who is having terrible eczema, or gut pain, or other issues that you think are food-related, if the symptoms are bad enough, you should still consider testing.
