Our environment is littered with 1000s of contaminants.  It can be next to impossible to know exposure to pollutants in the air, food and water.  What one can have an understanding of is whether or not toxic body burden has become so great as to outstrip pace with detoxification processes and is now causing harm on a cellular level to the membrane and DNA.  Understanding the balance between toxins and antioxidants helps us evaluate the threshold at which there is harm.
