Watch our 3-part introductory series about the P88 Dietary Antigen Test, recorded by Dr. Cheryl Burdette. You’ll be introduced to this Precision Point Diagnostics food allergy and sensitivity test, including which reactions are measured and how they are assessed. The P88 is the gold standard for assessing food allergies and reactions, utilizing 88 widely consumed foods to assess an array of reactions. Each food is tested individually four times, with four different antigenic reactions: IgE, IgG, IgG4, and C3D (complement). These four reactions are individually analyzed on the report, and cross indexed to give a complete picture of immune response to food allergens and reactivities.
Part 1: Explores how to interpret results on the test, whether from the serum version or from the DIY dried blood version. The basics of each type of reaction are detailed as well as how to interpret them together as a comprehensive result. An walk-through of the report is also included.
Part 2: Gives pointers on how to follow-up with a patient after the results are analyzed, including how to implement and direct an elimination diet, and guidelines for future testing.
Part 3: Orally answers the most frequently asked questions that practitioners have had about utilizing this test and how to achieve the best patient outcomes.
